ACCESS TO MEDICINES /
OUR WORK IN SPAIN
WE LAUNCHED #SICKSICKSICK: THE SICKEST CONTEST ON T.V.
Three contestants. A single winner. The prize: get the drug that will save your life. This is ‘Sick, Sick, Sick’, the game show where a jury decides who can access the medicine they need and who can’t. Who is saved and who is not.
With this premise, the #SickSickSick campaign was launched. It aimed to introduce the problem of access to medicines to public debate and to request signatures in support of a letter sent to Farmaindustria, the pharmaceutical employers’ association in Spain. The letter asked them to abandon practices that perpetuate this system and introduce new measures in favor of public health. And we were broadcast on Intermedio (a Spanish T.V. program)!
