ANNUAL
REPORT 2017
2017 has been another year characterized by great work and significant advances in Salud por Derecho’s fights for healthcare. While we were working to secure the political commitment of all parties in Spain to refocus on the fight against AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria, we also coordinated the launch of the NOBODY campaign in Latin America and the Caribbean, to ensure that neither international aid nor the governments themselves disappear from the fight against AIDS in these regions’ middle-income countries.
Concerning access to medicines, we have once again participated in national, European and international debates in an effort to reduce high prices, change the R&D models in drug development, and create a system in which access to life-saving medicines is a real and affordable right for all people around the world—one that outweighs the economic interests currently preventing this.
Furthermore, we have continued working towards a Tax on Financial Transactions that helps finance health programs throughout Europe.
Welcome to our 2017 memory.
Help us to keep doing more: collaborate.
